# Pricing — Bakery Buddy

Bakery Buddy is pre-launch. Access is by waitlist at https://bakerybuddy.ai/waitlist.
Prices below are the committed launch prices.

Currency: USD. There are three plans: Home, Baker, and Bakery. No per-seat charges on any
plan. No order or customer caps on any plan. The whole app is unlocked on all three — the
paid plans buy a bigger Buddy Balance, a custom domain, waived payment fees, and on Bakery
the full financial and tax reports, not access to features.

## Home

- Price: $0/month
- Customers: unlimited
- Orders: unlimited
- Buddy Balance: $2/month included
- Website: free you.bakerybuddy.ai subdomain, includes a "Powered by" footer
- Custom domain: not included
- In-person card payments: Stripe's rate, Bakery Buddy adds no fee
- Online invoice payments: Stripe's rate plus a 1% Bakery Buddy fee
- Features: the whole app — orders, customers, inventory, recipes and costing, financial
  reports, automations, email campaigns, hosted website, voice counter mode, Ask Buddy

## Baker

- Price: $29/month billed monthly, or $23/month billed annually ($276/year)
- Everything in Home, fully unlocked, plus:
- Buddy Balance: $15/month included, and unused balance rolls over
- Custom domain: included, no "Powered by" footer
- Online invoice payments: Stripe's rate only, the 1% Bakery Buddy fee is waived

## Bakery

- Price: $59/month billed monthly, or $49/month billed annually ($588/year)
- Everything in Baker, plus:
- Buddy Balance: $40/month included, and unused balance rolls over
- Reports: full financial and tax reports
- Support: priority
- Team members and shared-kitchen device login: coming soon for teams. These are not live
  today and are not something you can use on this plan yet.

## Buddy Balance

Buddy Balance is a single dollar-denominated usage wallet covering both AI and marketing
email — the two things that cost real money to run. It is a wallet, not a per-action price
list: there is no published rate card for individual Buddy actions. Home includes $2 a
month, Baker $15, and Bakery $40. On the paid plans unused balance rolls over instead of
expiring, so a slow week banks toward a busy one. You can top up at any time.

Free, and never drawn from your balance:

- Pricing, allergen, and spec checks Buddy runs on its own, unasked
- Transactional order email: confirmations, receipts, and invoices

Drawn from your balance:

- Asking Buddy a question about your business
- Turning a pasted inquiry into a priced order
- Drafting a customer message
- Taking a voice counter order
- Automation and campaign email — review requests, pickup reminders, marketing sends — at
  2 cents per email

## Payment processing

Payments run on the bakery's own Stripe Connect account, so payouts go directly to the
bakery's bank rather than through Bakery Buddy. Stripe's own processing rates apply and
are paid to Stripe.

- In person, at the counter: no Bakery Buddy fee on any plan
- Online invoices, Home plan: 1% Bakery Buddy fee
- Online invoices, Baker and Bakery plans: no Bakery Buddy fee

For contrast with selling platforms: Hotplate charges around 5% plus $0.55 an order, and
Castiron took 10%.

## Terms

- Billing: monthly or annual, cancel any time
- Monthly cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period; annual ends at the billing cycle
- No cancellation fees
- Free trial: not applicable — the Home plan is permanent and free, not a trial
