The report you'd never build.
Every other app gives you the dashboards someone else decided you needed. Ask Buddy a question in your own words — about your customers, your months, your flavors — and it answers off your actual data.

Questions you can actually ask
"Which customers haven't ordered since spring?" "What did I make on wedding cakes last year?" No filters to set, no report builder to learn, no export to Excel.
Buddy queries your own records to answer. It isn't estimating from a summary or making a number up — the answer comes from the same rows your orders page reads.
Asking a question can only ever look. Buddy cannot change, delete, or send anything while answering, so there's no wrong question you can accidentally ask.
The answer to "who owes me money" shouldn't take fifteen minutes of scrolling and a spreadsheet. Ask on your phone between batches.
Most bakery software makes you learn its reports.
You end up with dashboards built for a business that isn't quite yours, and the question you actually have — the one that would change what you do this week — isn't on any of them. Asking in plain English skips that entirely. There's nothing to configure, and no question is too specific to be worth asking.
Type the question
In your words, the way you'd ask a bookkeeper who happened to know your business.
Buddy looks it up
It reads your own orders, customers, recipes, and payments to find the answer.
You get a real number
With the customers or orders behind it, so you can act on it instead of just reading it.
Stop building reports you'll look at once.
Ask Buddy is live in the app today. Join the waitlist and ask your bakery its first question.

What kinds of questions can I ask?
Anything your records can answer: which customers have gone quiet, what you earned on a flavor or event type, how this month compares to last, who still owes you money, which orders are unpaid past their due date, what you charged the last time someone asked for a three-tier. If the data is in Bakery Buddy, Buddy can read it.
Can Buddy change something when I ask a question?
No. Asking is strictly read-only — Buddy can look at your data but cannot edit, delete, or send anything while answering. Actions that do change something are separate, and they either come with an undo or wait for you to confirm first.
Can it see other bakeries' data?
No. Every question is scoped to your own bakery before it runs, and bakery data is isolated at the database level. There is no query you could write that reaches another bakery's records.
Does it make numbers up?
The figures come from your own records rather than from Buddy's own guess, which is the difference between an answer and an estimate. If your data doesn't cover the question, you'll hear that instead of a confident wrong number.
What does asking cost?
Questions draw from your Buddy Balance — the usage wallet that covers AI and marketing email. Home includes $2 a month, Baker $15, and Bakery $40, and on the paid plans it rolls over, so a slow week banks toward a busy one.
