Is this only for brick-and-mortar bakeries?
No. It's built for solo and small-team custom-cake and dessert makers — including home-based and cottage-food operations. If you take orders and bake, it fits, whether or not you have a storefront.
How does the pricing help work?
Buddy rolls your ingredient costs up through each recipe so you know a cake's true cost, then compares a new quote against what you've charged for similar events. It flags when you're under your own average so you can raise it before you send the quote.
How do online payments work?
You connect your own Stripe account, and customers pay your invoices online — full amount or a deposit. Because it's your Stripe Connect account, payouts go straight to your bank. On the Baker plan the online-payment fees are waived.
What does it cost?
There's a Home plan at $0 with the whole app, unlimited customers, and Buddy AI included on a $2/mo Buddy Balance. Baker is $29/mo ($23/mo billed annually) and adds a $15/mo Buddy Balance that rolls over, a custom domain with no footer, and waived online-payment fees. Bakery is $59/mo ($49/mo billed annually) for shops with a team and real volume.
