✦ Custom cake order form

Stop retyping orders out of your DMs.

Give customers a real order form, or paste the text they already sent — either way Buddy turns it into a structured order with the date, servings, and details in the right fields. No more scrolling a chat to find what they asked for.

PASTE THE CUSTOMER'S TEXT — BUDDY FILLS THE ORDER
❖ What it does

From inquiry to tracked order, without the retyping

A public intake form

Share a link where customers submit their cake request — event, date, servings, flavors, and details. Every submission lands in Bakery Buddy as a draft order, not another message to dig through.

AI order parsing

Got the request as a text or DM instead? Paste it in and Buddy reads it into a structured order — pulling out the date, guest count, and design notes so you just confirm.

Inquiries become tracked orders

Every request turns into an order you can move through its stages to pickup, so nothing gets lost between "can you do this cake" and the day it's due.

Deposits to lock it in

Send an invoice and collect a deposit or full payment online through your own Stripe Connect account, so a booking is confirmed before you start baking.

❖ How it works

Your intake is where orders get lost — fix that first

When every cake request lives in a different DM thread, details slip and dates get double-booked. A single order form plus AI parsing means every inquiry ends up in the same place, in the same shape, ready to track. And the rest of Bakery Buddy — costing, invoicing, a hosted website, and Buddy AI — is right there when you need it.

1

A request comes in

Someone fills out your order form — or sends the details as a text you paste in yourself.

2

Buddy builds the order

The date, servings, flavors, and design notes land in the right fields as a draft order for you to review and confirm.

3

Confirm and collect a deposit

Adjust anything, send an invoice, and take a deposit online so the date is locked before you get to work.

Common Questions

Do customers have to use the form, or can I still take DM orders?

Both work. Customers can fill out your public order form, or you can keep taking requests however they come — text, DM, email — and paste the message in so Buddy parses it into an order. Either way it ends up as a structured, trackable order.

What does the AI parser actually pull out?

It reads a plain-language request and fills in the order fields it can find — customer, event, date, servings, pickup time, and design notes. You always review the draft and adjust anything before confirming, so you stay in control.

Can I collect a deposit through the form flow?

Once an inquiry becomes an order, you send an invoice and take a deposit or the full amount online. Payments run on your own Stripe Connect account, so the money goes straight to your bank.

Is the order form all I get?

The form is the front door, but it feeds the full app: recipe costing and AI pricing, invoicing, automated follow-ups, and a hosted website — with Buddy AI grounded in your real numbers throughout.
